Welcome to the Wisconsin Chapter of the National Organization for Women (NOW)! We are a grassroots organization working hard to bring about equality for the women of Wisconsin. Our objectives are comprehensive, ranging from ending racism, sexism and homophobia, to securing reproductive rights and ending all forms of violence against women. Support the Healthy Youth Act! WI NOW is a part of a new statewide coalition called the Healthy Youth Alliance, a coalition   supporting the implementation of the Healthy Youth Act (AB458) - which would require that if schools teach sex ed that it be comprehensive, medically accurate, and age appropriate.  There will be a public hearing for the Healthy Youth Act on TUESDAY, OCTOBER 6th at 9:00am in Room 417 North in the State Capitol.

Opportunities to Get Involved

If you and a few friends are interested in starting a chapter in your area, please contact us. We can send a representative to you to help get you started. Starting a NOW chapter is a great way to promote equality and women's rights in your area, and gain valuable experience working with the media and developing leadership skills!
